    Hi A-Law,

there are places where you can see your discovered/inventoried printers, switches, routers.

    1. "Topology View" ability to see your discovered devices in your network (If you've performed network discovery via "ARP").

    2. There are different reports from Inventory Solution where you can see your discovered/inventoried routers, switches, printers, etc.

    3. There are "Filters" where you can see list of your discovered/inventoried switches, routers, printers, etc:

I think the NS uses SNMP to identify what sort of device it has discovered. These are instructions to identify and unknown device:

“Add Classification to unknown devices after Network Discovery using SNMP”

    • If using SNMP makes sure the Connection Profile has ping and SNMP protocols configured in the console
    • Use a MIB walker to browse to iso.org.dod.internet > mgmt > mib-2 > system and note the Name/OID value (ex: .1.3.6.1.4.1.8072.3.2.3)
    • Settings > All Settings > Settings > Discovery and Inventory click on: SNMP Device Classification. Click on '+ Add' button to 'Add Device Classification' and enter:
      • the SNMP object ID
      • select the Device Type (Unknown, Router, Switch, Wireless hub, Hub, Workstation, Server, Printer, IP Phone, Linux, Apple Device, San Device, KVM Device)
      • Manufacturer
      • Device Model
      • Resource type. Note computer resource type will add the device to manage > computers> New computers
    • Then rerun the 'Network Discovery' task again
