    Can someone recommend of NTP should be installed on the server OS?

    In short, yes. NTP components are supported on the Windows Server OS.

    If you can, test in a non-prod environment first. If you have higher bandwidth servers, you'll also want to take a look at those to see if it will be feasible and not affect performance.
