  • 1.  passthroughInboundSMIME doesn't work

    Hi @all

    in Outlook the native SMIME support doesn't work when PGP is running. If PGP Desktop is closed, all E-Mails are shwon as SMINE signed / encrypted.

    As far as I know, in the pref.xml the value "passthroughInboundSMIME" should be changed to "true". But that doesn't solve the problem:-(

    I use MS Outlook 2013 and PGP 10.2.1.

    Does anyone know a solution for that? Thanks!

    Your version of PGP Desktop is not compatible with Outlook 2013.  Support for that was not added until Symantec Encryption Desktop (formerly PGP Desktop) version 10.3 mp2.

    You will need to upgrade to ensure compatibility.  The last version of PGP Desktop before the naming convention change was 10.2.1 mp5, which came out in 2012, before Outlook 2013 was even published.
