Patch Management Group

Hello All,

We are having issues with Patch Management Solution, the issue is after we distribute patches e.g. 03-08-2015 the compliance goes up for about 3 weeks after that we see that the compliance of those patches drops, even though the bulletin has not been Superseded or Partially Superseded, as a workaround we are disabling the updates, recreating them and again distributing it, what I would like to know, is there any better way, and way does this happen.

What version of SMP and Hotfixes are you running?

SMP version is 7.5 SP1 HF5

Josh is a regular and will likely chime in at some point.

In addition to what Hightower said, you can also see this behavior after patches have been revised by the vendor.

I would check to see if the patches that are showing lower compliance numbers have since been revised to see if that may be the issue.
