I noticed after updating to Patch Management 7.0 SP2 MR3 the Symantec Managment Agent no longer shows what patches were installed and by whom under the patch tab. We found this very useful information if a server would reboot outside the patch cycle. Is there another way to pull this info from the NS server now? According to this Tech Article the agent will behave this way going foward. http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH147912
I haven't used this report, but what about something like 'Windows Software Update Delivery Summary' accomplish this for you?
This is something that is already missed by number of customers, however it has to be said that the performance benefits were quite significant, at least one of my cust reported that the performance mattered more than the UI section, which in the end is rarely used (normal users don't go to check these parts).
Also be aware of some caveats with the old view. I wrote an article on this, explaining why "installed by" is not always reporting data you would expect:

I use this info on a daily. I'd like to see the explanation of why it was removed, how much performance is improved vs losing this vaulable information. NS 7 is still not moving with great speed while if I'm in a server or workstation I can quickly look up what updates have been installed successfully instantly while logged into it.
In Patch Management 7.1, this is available in a .csv file written locally to the machine. You can still consult it but it's not available from the client UI.
%ALTIRIS_AGENT_INSTALL_FOLDER%\Agents\PatchMgmtAgent\InstallLog.csv
Mike, is this file still valid? I'm using PM Version 7.1 SP1 and have 5 servers being managed. One of the servers I see had patches installed, but I do not see this file in this directory.
Yes, this is still accurate, regardless of version. Are you sure you're looking in the correct directory? Perhaps you're using 64-bit and need to check Program Files (x86)?
