  • 1.  Patch management for UNIX / LINUX?

    Hi,

    How we can didstribute the Patches to Unix & Linux Systems.

    Do we need to install Patch management solution for Unix & Linux or by installing Windows Patch management solution, we can deploy the patches to Unix & Linux.

    Currently there is only a PM Solution for Windows, and one for Linux (they are separate). For UNIX, I suspect you would have to deploy the patch bundles via UNIX Software Delivery.

    If we install Patch Management solution For Windows, can we deploy patches to Linux?

    or do we need to install Patch management solution for Linux to deploy the patches to Linux and Unix?

    Patch Management for Linux and Patch Management for Windows are indeed different products.

    If you want to deploy patches for Linux, you will have to install Patch Management for Linux.
