Patch Mgmt Solution 7.0 - Agents not long standing getting patch policies

I am wondering why an Symantec agent is not receiving some of my software update policies....

I have software update policies for every month in 2011. Each policy groups multiple bulletins but I dont go over the 60 KB limit. And each policy is targeting all servers...specifically my test servers who's maintenance windows are all day every day. These policies are always turned on. There are some patches that continue to show vulnerabilities. When I check my vulnerabilities, I see that my test servers listed. I stage up an individual software update policy of the vulnerable KB and send it to the agent. When I visit the agent I see that it does receive the new individual policy and installs. My question is, why didnt it receive the original policy the first time? Why do I have to double back with an individual policy when my original policies are always turned on?

    Thanks,

    rwp

    Hi rpleasan,

Are there any errors in Log on agent side and on Server side when Refresh Policies is performed? Could You please attach Client Policies from any problematic client? (Altiris\Altiris Agent\Client Policies folder on agent). Also, please check the Server Log, when scheduled task NS.Microsoft is running. You can execute it manually from Windows Task Scheduler: Run  NS.Microsoft task there and monitor Server Logs, while it is running (about 2 ~ 10 minutes). If You see something interesting there - please, do not hesitate to share with us.

    Best regards,

    Sergei.
