  • 1.  Patches double displayed

    Hello,

     

    I haveing some troubles with Patch Management.

    I use Internet Explorer 11:

    Internet Explorer Version.jpg

    and I use language german:

    Sprache Deutsch.jpg

    I am in Patch Remediation Center

    There I see my Patches.

    Patch Center.jpg

    There I have the Patch Bulletin MSWU-1806: Applicable (Count): 1 and Not Installed (Count): 1

    When I make a right Click on it and choose View Not Installed Computers by Bulletin.

    Then I see the Patch double:

    When I switch the language to english:

    Sprache Englisch.jpg

     

    Then you just see the Patch only once in the same view:

    Not Installed Updates.jpg

    Has someone an idea how to fix that?

    Maybe this is not a very smart way, but try to clear cache in I.E and try to reproduce this problem again.

    Hello Igor

    that does not help. The patches are also shown double. Only when i switch IE Language into german. In english there is only one shown.

     

    I think that is an bug.

    I've tried to reproduce it on my CMS 7.6 HF7 build, using your case but don't see such problem and it doesn't show any duplicate records for me, when I.E is using German language.

    I can confirm this is an issue and I´ve seen this on multiple installations.

    Clearing IE Cache does not help...

    Does Chrome with "German" language is also show same problem for Patch report on your Client Management Suite?

    Questions for clarification:

    1. Where you're opening I.E | From CMS Server directly or from remote I.E on Workstation?
    2. You're CMS is running on Windows 2008 R2 SP1 x64 US OS or German OS?
    3. You have imported bulletins only for "English" Language or your have there "German" language checked as well for them?

    Hello Igor,

     

    We start the IE from the CMS Server

    The OS is the same in the language english installed

    Language is completed independend. I have checked english. When we check english and german we have the same issue.

    Hi Turl,

     

    According to Symantec Support the issue will be fixed in the next major Release because it is only a "cosmetic" issue..
