    Dear Concern,

Only the application based on Power Builder 11 is not working. If we uninstalls the SEP the PB application starts fine, again if we installs the SEP than PB application stops functioning. We recevies the below error while starting the PB applications.

    PB110.EXE  - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.

    Thanks and regards

Check the SEP logs and find out any entry related to this application is present. If present create an exception for that.

Use centralized exception to exclude the file or folder related to that application...

I'm using SEP 11.05.002.333. All applications that was compiled by Power Builder 11 isn't working.
It show error "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application".
So, It's work if I config client install package to enable only antivirus and antispyware feature. but I won't to lost the network threat & proactive threat protecton feature.

    Yes !!!!

There is a defect in RU5.

I too have a problem with the latest Version of SEP. I have escalated to Symantec support.
They say "a defect related to Sybase PowerBuilder conflicting with the Application and device Control Module of SEP11 RU5, "

My case ID is :- 320-233-677

You too open a case with Symantec.

    Awaiting for hotfix of RU5

    Regards...

This error mostly leads to Application and Device Control.
Check ig you have any APP policy applied if yes then create exclusion for this file in AAP control policy.

If you are not using Application and Device control then remove it from the computers.
