For some reason PCT is setting the IM EnablePressence to 1 when on the client machine it is set to 2. It is also turning on Read Receipt for all messages when I check to move Outlook Settings. From the personality log:

Registry Value Added: HKEY_USERS\<SID>\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\IM EnablePresence 1

Registry Value Added: HKEY_USERS\<SID>\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Preferences ReadReceipt 1

Any ideas why this is happening? We are moving Win7 x64 to Win7 x64 both with Office 2007.

You need to edit the MS Outlook a2i file and look for the version of Outlook in question and right click it and select "Advanced Options".

Then select the "Misc option" tab and check the box for do not replace item if already present on the destination machine or you could check for it to not include this item in the package.

    or

you could simply delete that particular reg key from the a2i file.

hope this help as I know how frustrating PCT can be at times...

Figured that out at 5:30 on Friday. I didn't realize the a2i could set defaults. I thought it just helped define what setting would be carried over to the new machine.

Is there a way to configure that to just use the setting from the old machine?
