    Hi,

one of my laptop is running Win7 Home Premium and I was getting Blue screen for igmd***64.sys file often then i have decided to go back to previous restore point. After rolling back to previous restore point OS was not loading normally instead givine BSOD with error Process1_initialization_failure. After bootgurad authentication OS displays two options , 1. startup and repair , 2. Start Windows normally, both the option doesn't work and restart the computer bringing back to BootGuard authentication screen.

As per the instruction given in this page

    http://kb.mit.edu/confluence/display/istcontrib/Boot+error+with+PGP+and+certain+laptops+running+Windows+7

, i am trying to decrypt even after whole night still the progress is showing as 99% to be decrypted. is it really working ? should i interrupt the process ?

. please help there is more valuable data in the hdd ( 500 gb capacity) . I am not afford to loose any data. please help me to recover the data.

    Thanks in advance...

    Regards,

    Madhav

PGP WDE is not compatible with a system restore point prior to installing our product while the drive is encrypted. This causes Windows to remove our WDE filter driver, which will prevent boot access to the drive.

imgkd.sys is related to Intel drivers. I would suggest updating to the latest Intel drivers from their website to see if it resolves the issue. This is a common problem seen on Windows XP and Windows 7 32-bit due to the amount of kernel stack space Intel's drivers took in older versions of their driver releases. The solution is usually to upgrade your intel driver.
