  • 1.  PGP Command Line requires Rosetta on OSX -- what about OSX 10.7?

We have PGP Command Line 10.2 and would like to create self-decrypting archive files for OSX.

Since intel-based Macs came out, when you try to run a sda file on OSX it tells you:

"You need the Rosetta software to run xxxxxx.  The Rosetta installer is in the Optional Installs on your Mac OS X installation disc."

It is my understanding that OSX 10.7 does not include Rosetta anymore.   What options are there for folks wanting self-decrypting archives on OSX?

Is PGP ever going to resolve this issue?

I'm sorry you're running into this problem.  This is a known issue and is on the roadmap but I cannot tell you when it will be addressed.

Okay, I can confirm that a fix for this issue has been checked into the codeline for the next release.
