    Hey,

I have a simple question but can't find any articles pretaining to it. I have PGP Universal Server installed with NetShare enabled. I want to know if I have a Linux server as my share drive, will I be able to encrypt network share folders just like it would be on a windows server system? Thank you.

    That´s not possible

While PGP NetShare is independent of the file server so we work with various underlying filesystems and tape formats, but PGP NetShare does require a SMB/CIFS mount (we do not support NFS currently) to access the data. Typically this appears as a UNC mount point (h: drive) or a mount location (//ServerA/Home).

As a workaround, you can use PGP Zip (normal file encryption).
