From my understanding pgp portable is EOL or being EOLed

How do you guys move forward with SEMS/PGP in this case?

Do you guys have separate console just for SEE-RS policy management?

IMO it's best if both PGP and SEE product get combined together...

    Regards

It depends on your use case tbh.

Yes PGP portable is EOL, and SEE-RME is the recommended way forward.  It is however, possible to upgrade a PGP WDE client to SEE-FDE (http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC9279), so it's possible to migrate fully to SEE and drop PGP entirely, if all you're using is disk and usb encryption.

Unfortunately, at this time, if you want to have mail client and/or fileshare encrpytion with removable media encryption, you do have to run both solutions.

Hmm I think the important missing information here is the roadmap for encryption

Based on the feedback from our local SE and this forum seems everyone is recommending complete migration to SEE

The SEE-RS client/utility itself seems working fine for normal encryption to usb @ external drive

it just that there are few specific policy related settings that can't be managed without the SEE console...

Would love to know if PGP line will actually be EOL or combined together at all
