  • 1.  PGP zip function is free?

    Hello.

    I have a question about PGP license.

    When i install PGP desktop, I didnt put the license.

    but after installation, i found pgp zip function is on

    is it  normal result?
     
    if this is normal, user can use pgpzip free?

    Yes PGP Zip is available with all PGP Desktop, and we do not count separate License for PGPZIP

    Certain functionality still works even without a license (or with an expired license), but you are only permitted to use it in a non-commercial environment for non-commercial purposes.  Please see the End User License Agreement for specific information.

    Both PGP Zip and PGP Shredder come as standard with all PGP Licenses, but you cannot download them for free, they are value added modules

    Probably no further explanation is required, but just to make sure, even when using PGP at the Freeware level of functioning (which is what you are doing when you don't enter a license, or when a license has expired), PGP Zip is available for use.
