  • 1.  prntm.dll needed on endpoint agent?

    We are testing out some new software called Codeware COMPRESS.  It doesn’t work until prntm.dll is removed.  At C:\Program Files\Manufacturer\Endpoint Agent\prntm.dll 

    Can this file be safely removed for this software installation?

    No, i suggest first you can submit your software for whitelist in symantec support. Software developer would like to add his/her software to the Symantec White-List. http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH132220 https://submit.symantec.com/whitelist

    This is a key file for COMPRESS. You need to add as an exclusion.

    You need to check out your Risk log to determine which component is detecting it. Either AV or SONAR.
