    Hi,

We have a DLP solution 14.5 (with 150 agents installed on the endpoint), but we have a problem with one of them, we installed the agent, and when we check the services of DLP  it's running, but we have not the agent reporting on the enforce (i mean, the machine is not displayed on the agent Overview (whether it's in reporting or not reporting), no trace of the machine.  How can we resolve this. Thank you

    Best regards

    Possible reason could be:

1.You should have enough license to accomodate all the agents to report to console

    2. Assuming  you have installed all the agents with the same package, make sure that the Endpoint server IP address you are mentioning during installation is correct

3.Telnet and verify TCP port 10443 between Endpoint agent & Endpoint Server.

4.Check whether local firewall is blocking the traffic?

    Hope this helps!

    Ladnad,

I would reccomend that you uninstall the Agent, make sure to use the clean agent program afterwards (attached) to make sure it is fully uninstalled. Make sure to use the unistall bacth file for the specific version.

The install the agent manually, by ipening a Run As Administrator Command prompt then run the batch file from there.

If there is still an issue, you may want to see if there is an AV or other Network blocking program that is kiling the process or communication.

    Good Luck

    Ronak

    Thank's for your answers,

Yes we have enough license for the agents, the IP adress of endpoint server is correct, we have no problem with other machines, execpt or this one that i have mentionned.

Yes Ronak, wa have unistall he agent and installed it again after we have used the clean agent program, but the problem still there, No trace of the machine on enforce server, (even if the services are running).

We still try to find a solution, we will try to see if it's AV.

    Regards

Make sure to try and do this manually... if using a SW deployment tool.

First of all, check WDP & EDPA services running on Endpoint Agent or not. If its running then You should check your Network Guy to check communication between Enforce and Endpoint.

if that dont help out then Uninstall agent from Endpoint and reinstall it.

Have you tried recycling services on the endpoint server? I experienced a similar situation not too long ago and once the services came back up the agent was visible on Enforce. As stated above, if the edpa service is running, that will at least tell you that the agent was installed successfully.

    Cheers. Hope that helps.
