Ghost Solution Suite

hy,

 

I have got a problem with ghost 8. First I install the console on windows XP, everything was good. I have buy a new server and install the console on Windows serveur 2003.

Now when I setup the client with the console, the most often the setup succes but on 30 PC only 10 appear on the console...

When I saw, on the client, cleint ghost is install but the service "agent ghost" is not existing.

 

How could I correct that except but installing client ghost physically on each computer? (I've got 130 PCs .. :s)

Hi Tinken,

 

Before exploring other causes, did you register the console? If the console is not registered, only 10 clients will show in the default folder, although the rest of the clients are installed as well. Once the console is registered, the other clients will appear in the default folder. Please let me know if this solves the problem. If not, we will investigate further.

yes i have registered the console for 150 clients.

but I haven't include my windows domain into the console.

When I install the client with the console, I enter the username and password of the domain administrator

Hi Tinken,

 

Entering the domain credentials when remotely installing the clients should work. Do you still have only 10 clients displayed? If yes, can you please check what information is displayed in Help ->About - specifically "Number of machines known to console" and  "Console registered for" ?
