I hope someone can help me with this.

I need to create a DVD that boots to ghost so that I can image some machines.  The units have SATA DVD drives and SATA hard drives.  There are no ide controllers on board.  I created a floppy disk with the DVD drivers (gcdrom.sys) on it, and created a bootable DVD with Roxio.  I added ghost (8.3) and the image to the DVD.  The DVD boots fine, and detects the DVD drive.  It then runs the ghost command line from the autoexec
(Z:\ghost.exe -clone,mode=restore,src=Z:\image.gho,dst -sure).  The computer just hangs in ghost, and nothing happens.

I tried to play with the switches, and when I added "-noide" or "-fni", I would get a the following error:
"Question 1801:  Bad blocks encountered on read - continue anyway?"
    After choosing yes, I get:
"Question 1815:  Ignore subsequent bad blocks?"
After choosing yes, ghost loads up and starts imaging.  The problem is it estimates 7 hours for the image to finish.  I have not actually waited around to see if it would be successfully imaged though.

I also went into the BIOS of the machine and changed the SATA operation to legacy mode.  I had to use the old DVD drivers (oakcdrom.sys), but after loading, the same error occurs.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?  I researched the errors, and they all point to a hard drive failure.  I have tried multiple hard drives, and they all return the same errors.  The drives are new and have no partitions.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

As an FYI, this same image on the same machine loads in 30 minutes when booted from RIS and MultiCasted.
