I am trying to image a C: partition from one server and saving it as a .GHO file on the C: on another server in the network.  When it gets to the step for Cloning the imaging task fails.  I am using Symantec Ghost Solution Suite 2.5 TRIALWARE.  Any suggestions as to why this is failing?

Which server is GSS running from - is it the second server or a third server you have not described above? When the task fails - do you get any error or status messages?

I have the GSS server running on my local machine.  The box I am trying to image is on a different subnet and has the Ghost Client installed.  The destination of the image is on another server box which is on  the same subnet as my server. (but different than client).  I look at the log and I can see it loading the VIrtual OS and then it says it completed.  Looking at the log it says it failed at the Clone process.  Attached is the error log.  I also attempted to clone a system that was on the same subnet as both my GhostServer and the destination server and it failed as well.

Is there some sort of limitation in the Ghost TRIALWARE that will not allow you to clone to a network drive?

problem solved.  I was trying to save the image to a file share as opposed the full UNC path.
