I can't remember off the top of my head the exact error message, I will post it tonite when I get home, I am hoping you guys can lead to the right direction. I have a brand new computer with windows 7 64bit, i7 core cpu.ASUS G51J. I downloaded RU5 from ACERT(DoD), they may have a corrupted version because the error message does say it could be corrupted. I have downloaded it 2 times to be sure I got all of it. I even tried running lusetup, reboot and setup again that did not work, from the notes on this version it does say it works with windows 7 tho.

On the client go to run and type %temp%.
Look for  a file called SEP_Inst.log
In the file search for RETURN  VALUE 3 and paste 5-6 lines before and after that

If you go to Start->Run/Search ->%temp% , you can find sep_install.log in the temp folder.

In the log, look for "return value 3". Post 8 lines before and after the occurence. I am assuming you are trying to install an unmanaged client from the RU5 downloaded CD.

If you get any error like ""Pending system changes that require a reboot have been detected "

    Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager
and look for PendingFileRenameOperations and reanme it to  PendingFileRenameOperations2  and then run  the install  again
