  • 1.  Problems With Migration Task

Hi, I've created a very simple migration task (win2k to winxp) that captures the user data, deploying an image onto the client and restores the data back. but I'm having trouble preparing the client for the job.

    In more detail:
the task was very easy to create and understand but the problem is that it's not running by itself, I have to seat by the client computer the whole time and "help" it work properly.
For example, I have to decide whether to boot form the network or from the HD every time the computer reboots; I have to enter the login info every time it boots to the OS and so on.

Is it possible to make the task run automatically without any human intervention?
What are the right configuration for the client's boot order?
What can I do to make to task login the OS by itself?

    My configuration:
    1 ghost console server
    1 DHCP + PXE server
1 switch for the LAN on which the servers are applies to.
1 client computer -connected to the switch for testing.

    Thanks!

If someone's could answer it would be very appreciated.
I guess I'm just doing very basic mistakes otherwise, I don't see the point in the migration steps...

you need to have ghost client pre-installed in new os you deploy so console can continue the process from new client after image complete
