Might want to hold off on applying this patch until Microsoft releases an update.
Microsoft is receiving reports that MS16-072: Security update for Group Policy released on 14 June 2016 is causing permissions and access errors for many customers. This is affecting all Windows Operating Systems (Desktop and Server). Customers have reported that after applying the patch, Read permissions have changed for "Authenticated Users" group effecting client side extensions resulting in drive mappings that don't work; new settings changed through GPO are no longer retained; and shortcuts to applications on user's desktops are missing.
