Hi all,

If a vendor is asking to exclude scanning on a process lets say test.exe but the path of test.exe is ecluded does that cover the process?

Process to exclude - test.exe

Path - c:\programs\vendor\test.exe

Path alreaddy excluded - c:\programs\vendor

Do I still need to exclude test.exe?

Yes, you would need to add C:\Programs\vendor\test.exe as the file exclusion. Full path to the file and file name need to be included.

Otherwise you could just do a folder exclusion which would exclude every file in the directory, including test.exe

So if I exclude C:\Programs\vendor and all subfolders. test.exe would be included?

Yes. As long as it's done as a folder exclusion.
