    No.

At this time, GUPs can only provide content to the clients.

    Not possible for GUP

    See Idea

Allow GUP’s to Update SEP clients to new version of SEP clients.

    Thank you.

    So Briian,

I looked at the Auto Upgrade feature mentioned in the links you suggested.  I would like to try that one, but is there any kind of bandwidth control that I can do.  I see the option to distribute over a number of days but nothing bandwidth wise.

There is nothing for bandwidth control prior to RU5. RU5 now offers an apache module to control bandwidth. See the "What's New" notes here:

What's new in Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.5

    Bandwidth control for client communication

The management server now includes an Apache module that you can configure to control network bandwidth. The module reduces the network load between Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and the client computers, especially when the clients download content definitions or client installation packages.

Although,  no further info has come out on it...probably need to contact support.

    Hi,

Through SEPM it aint possible but if your willing to configure QOS through windows that would be a option, you can take it into consideration if your left if no other option..smiley

I really wish there was more information on the badnwdith controls in the latest release release and the apache module.  We have an upgrade scheduled in coming weeks, i would like to read more about this before the upgrade.

Same here. I will be reaching out to support within the next week about this though. I would encourage everyone to do the same. I'll post back as I hear back on anything.
