  • 1.  Program being blocked despite exceptions

    We have a product which has been installed on multiple servers internationally, including servers with Endpoint Protection, however he have come accross a site where our 2 Services will not start when pointing to the Servers name or IP address.  If we start up with localhost the services start, however this prevents "Clients" from accessing the server.  When Symantec End Point Protection SBE is removed the services start when pointed at the Server name or IP Address, when Symantec Endpoint Protection SBE is installed again on the server the services wont start.

    As previously mentioned we have our software set up on other servers with the same protection in place and there is no issue.

    We have exceptions in place on the server for the relevant ports as well as the program paths with no success.

    Would anyone have come accross a similar scenario or have any suggestions?
