ProxySG & Advanced Secure Gateway

Hi,

I found the following article about Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities, but there is no reference about Blue Coat Products wich uses proprietary Operating Systems.

I and my customers needs to know if Blue Coat Products, specifically ProxySG and CAS, are affected or if it's needed to apply some patch?

Hi Eduardo,

              These vulnerabilities need to have the system to be compromised to be expolited. Since the SGOS, CAS OS are all hardned and don't give one access beyond the limited set of commands, it is safe from what I understood. Its better we wait for the official statement from PR team before updating the end customers on this. This will be updated next week.
