  • 1.  PU update for agent

    i have one issue when i try to upgrade agent for newer PU

    the job becomes failed and i got the following error message as below

     

    Error occurred during CCS manager activity: data query failed: agent product update is not available for deployment

    Hi Lee,

    can you tell which OS and CCS version is your agent and which APU (agent product update) version you want to deploy to the agent?

    OS and CCS agent version is displayed under the Manage->Agents and the APU version you can see under the Manage->LiveUpdate.

    Hi

     

    OS: MS Windows 2008 R2 version 6.1 service pack 1

    CCS version 11.1

    Product update version : PU 2015-2

    Security content update version: SCU 2015-3

    i only can see "no information to display" for Manage->LiveUpdate (i did not set this configure actually)

    what i'm trying to do is to "Agent product update" with right click of the agent at Manage -> agent

    Hi Lee,

    you might want to configure LiveUpdate in CCS. Just google "symantec ccs liveupdate" and it will show many articles how to configure it.

    Once you configure it and it downloads the latest PU/SCU (note: latest will be PU 11.5/SCU2016-1), you should see something like this:
