    Hi,

I currently have 2FA setup and working on our servers, both Linux and Windows. I am trying to configure the Linux server to send 'Push Notifications' to mobile phone but cant get it to work.

When I login to Linux server, I am promted for Security Code, once I enter manually Im prompted for my password.

I would like to change this to Password first followed by a push notifcation to the mobile phone.

Has anyone done this successfully? If so, can they help me out? thanks in advance

    Hi there -

Which integration are you configuring? In the validation server, there are options for the order of authentication but this also depends on the validation method you are using. The VIP integration guides cover this fairly well.

    Hi Andreas,

I am trying to configure PUSH authentication with PAM on Linux, in the console I have push 'enabled' but for some reason this only works for Windows logins. Wondering if I'm missing something in the pam stack or sshd conf, any ideas?

    Hello,

I have done this in my lab and there is a kb article with a section on configuring PUSH with the PAM integration:

    Good Luck
