Greetings!
I'm attempting to setup a working Ghost console and a PXE solution for the technicians to utilize at my workplace. In the last few days of experimenting with the console, everything seems to be working normally and I'm pretty impressed. However, for new PC's right outta the box, or PC's across the building that are in need of an operating system, I thought that using a network pxe boot would be ideal. I've installed the DeployCenter software bundled with GSS2.0 and setup the pxe boot menu to allow the technician to choose the network drive map that simply connects to a network share (after supplying credentials) and choose the desired image from our collection. This option works, however I can only perform 1 image at a time due to the windows network name already in use. Is there a way around this? On another note, we have 2 subnets in our facility for computers, so instead of opening the holes in the network, I've added a second network card to the pxe server and set it to the other subnet. This seems to cause an issue since I'm pretty positive the UNDI driver installed with DeployCenter does not support more than 1 nic card. I did receive an email from Symantec support stating to use "ghost boot wizard" UNDI driver instead of the DeployCenter Boot Disk Builder, since the Ghost boot wizard UNDI driver was newer and did support more than 1 nic. I was told to locate a INF file for the UNDI driver in the Ghost Boot wizard, but I'm striking out here. In the end, it would be ideal if I could have any PC in the facility (on either subnet) utilize pxe and bring down an image so I could join it to the Ghost Console.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated,
Lee
