Qualcomm Mobile Broadband Driver removes MAC address in DS

I am imaging 7 HP ProBook 6550b laptops using a Windows XP SP3 image that I have been using for a few months.  After pushing the image to the laptop, I have a few drivers to install, one of the being the Qualcomm Mobile Broadband Driver - Gobi 2000.  After installing the driver, I noticed in DS that the MAC address in the Hardware and TCP/IP Properties fields was blank and that I could no longer manage this laptop.  I reimaged the laptop and applied the driver again with the same results.  Then I reimaged it a 3rd time and downloaded a newer driver from HP, applied it and same thing happened again.

Another thing I noticed was that another PC in DS was now showing up with the same computer name as the one I was just imaging.

Has anyone else seen this happen before and have a resolution for it?
