  • 1.  Question about *.pmi files

    Hello, all.
    Where I can download *.pmi files for import to Symantec Packager?
    I need *.pmi files for following products:
    1. Client Symantec Antivirus 10 (MR9) Eng
    2. Client Symantec Client Security 3.1.9 (MR9) Eng

     located on the CD in \Packager\Products\*.PMI

    I have two cd with MR5 and MR9 but I cannot see this directory on CD. Where I can download it?

    it will be in CD2
    hope you have downloaded both the CDs
    in SAV you can find this under CD2

    Symantec_Antivirus_Corporate_Edition_10.2.1_AllWin_EN_CD2\SAV_10.2.1.1000_AllWin_NetWare_EN_CD2\CD2\Tools\Nosuprt\Packager

     You need the Cd2 of SAV MR9

    Yes. I have CD2. But I cannot find pmi files on it.

    Its not there anymore..

    Earlier versions of Symantec AntiVirus included product modules for Symantec
    Packager that allowed you to customize Symantec AntiVirus client and server
    installations. Product modules for Symantec AntiVirus are no longer provided.
    Symantec AntiVirus installations are now delivered as Windows Installer
    packages (.msi), which can be customized using Windows Installer features and
    commands.
    You can use Symantec Packager to create an installation package that contains a
    Symantec AntiVirus Windows Installer package, along with other files, such as a
    configurations file (Grc.dat) or content license file.
