  • 1.  Rdeploy Error 5 : memory allocation faillure

    Hello evrybody,

     

    I need some assistance for this issue.

    We received new dell laptop (model m6600) and after creating the image I cannot deploy it.

    The message is : Error 5 : Memory allocation faillure

    It indicates a possible corruption of the image on the screen.

    But one weird thing, if I try to launch manually the installation (with the command rdeploy in a dos window), it works !

    Any of you have an idea ?

    Hi,

    What is DS version? Have you tried using Ghost as imaging tool?

    Thank for your concern.

    The version is 6.9.

    I only used rdeploy as imaging tool and It worked fine for the last 4 years.

    I going to test that but I don"t understant why it works for the imaging and the manually deploying   and not for our automatised deploy.                                                     

     

    EDIT : Same with ghost :-(

    Hi,

    At what point deploy image task fails in your scenario? Can you please attached server and client log files?

    I hope you might have added appropiate network and storage drivers for new dell hardware in WinPE and DA database.
