    Man, this SEP Cloud experience is very disappointing.

    I've just come into this new environment that I need to figure out. At my last job, we used SEP through an on-premise server and it was relatively easy to manage. Now I'm trying to figure out SEP Cloud.

    I have some machines that aren't green-dotting, and no idea why. I just tried to remove one (which used to be an easy process), and now it is "Marked for deletion." I see no way to reverse this, have no idea how long it will take to delete, and am not even sure how to add it back to our enrolled devices afterward. I just wanted to remove and add again to see if something gets jiggled.

    I also uninstalled and reinstalled Symantec; no difference - still no green dot and marked for deletion. These devices are getting definition updates and are on 14.2. No idea why they're not green dotting.

    And of course the cloud portal shows some of these devices as never having connected. Others it shows as currently connected, but under "Last Connected" it gives dates in July and August. Makes no sense.

     

    Anyway, if anyone can advise me, at least with this "marked for deletion business," I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
