  • 1.  Registered v14 client has "Trial License" on server

    Posted Jan 17, 2018 10:52 AM

Hi, yesterday we installed a new v14 SEPM, and I registered the 4 licenses we have.  Now, when I open the client and click Help/About, it shows "Trial license.  Expires: Saturday, March 17, 2018".  How can I fix this?  Back in the old days, you used to have to delete the Trial License on the server, but it doesn't appear that that is an option with v14.

By the way, could someone put "Windows Server 2016" in the Operating System pull-down above?  I chose "Not Applicable" because that option isn't available.  Thanks.

It should be as simple as inputting your new, valid license and deleting the trial license on the Admin >> Licenses tab in SEPM. Select the trial license and click 'Delete this license'

    You don't have this option?

That's the problem.  There isn't a trial license in Admin > Licenses tab.  I haven't tried to reinstall SEP yet, but that may be my next step.

yesterday we installed a new v14 SEPM, and I registered the 4 licenses we have.

->Already updated the license file? client checked in to get the license from SEPM?

Whats the status of license on SEPM?

    Yes.

->Whats the status of license on SEPM?

We have 4 licenses listed all expiring on the same day, 7/2/2018.
