We are retiring our SAV server once we get the last users migrated to SEP. Is there anything special that needs to go on when removing the database from SQL?

I will be manually uninstalling SAV from the server.

    Hello,

Once all the Clients are migrated to SEP 11.x / SEP 12.1 from SAV 10 and they are reporting to the SEPM without issues, you can retire the SAV server by Uninstall SSC and other Symantec Software without any issue.

    Hope that helps!!

So our DBAs just go in and remove the SQL DB like they would any other and we do our thing on uninstalling etc?

What product were you using? SAV10 (SSC) doesn't use a SQL DB

Thanks, I do not have much experience with SAV most of my time is spent in SEP, which 90% has been on for a while now. Everyone will be migrated within the month.

Believe I have found the answers - Backup PKI/SAV directory then follow uninstall procedures. Thanks for the help.
