  • 1.  Removing SEPM 11 via powershell and msiexec

    Hey All,

I am currently trying to remove all versions of symantec from our client PC's using a powershell script I wrote and am delivering via a computer logon script GPO.  It is working on about half the PC's but the other half are failing according to the output of msiexec.  I'm a little lost as to whats causing the failure on the uninstall (maybe a password?) can anyone advise either a modification to the msiexec command to include the passwords I have or point out exactly whats failing from the msiexec logs?

    PS Script is here

    msiexec output is attached

Did you try removing the uninstall password from the SEPM so it will get removed on all clients?

SEPM is very broken I'm afraid so I have no central control of all clients.
