    We've been seeing some odd results of rename jobs through Altiris in regards to Windows 7 machines.  It seems that if we attempt a modify configuration task with a rename the machine doesn't update the computer object's name in Active Directory.  However all the paths for the object will be updated with the new name such as HOST TERMSRV RestricedKrbHost..etc.  The other odd thing is that this seems to happen only after the image is is fully brought online.  There is a configuration task bundled with the image deployment that seems to take without error.

    Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem?

    We're using DS 6.9 SP5 and AD with 2008 schema.

    This happens in SP4 at times as well.

    Still haven't found a solution for this issue.  Anyone else have any input?
