    Will i have to renew my existing symantec licenese when i upgrade from 12 to 14?

    If you are a customer with a current maintenance and support agreement ,you are an eligible upgrade customer and you are entitled to upgrade your supported licenses to SEP version 14 free of charge.

    Make sure you received the ''Symantec Product Upgrade Available'' email from ''upgradecenter'', which has an ''Activation Details link'', from the link you will get new serial number for SEP14 which is different from SEP12 serial number.

    No you won't have to renew it. Symantec should've sent you an upgrade notification email. If you haven't received one then you can contact support to get it.
