  • 1.  Renewing MDM certificate - kill pending CSR

    Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me with this one. I was renewing certificates, and made a mistake with one of our MDM certificates (we have two separate environments).

Instead of going directly to https://identity.apple.com/pushcert/ and simply renewing the existing certificate, I instead downloaded a new iOS MDM CSR from mobility manager. Now, if I upload a certificate created on the basis of this request, I would have to re-enroll all iPads associated with the old certificate. Not what I had in mind for the next few weeks.

So instead I went and renewed the old certificate with Apple, downloaded it, and then got this message when trying to upload it to Mobility Manager:

"Invalid cert - Uploaded file is a certificate, but does not match pending request"

So my question is: can I kill the pending request?

Nevermind. I was just confused. Turns out I merely had to renew the exisiting certificate again using the new request. Hope nobody wasted time trying to decipher the rambling.
