Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

I recently attempted to add Report Parameters to a new report I created in SMP 7.1 SR2.  When adding the new Report Parameter for a "Filter Chooser Parameter Control" type.  There is no option to a "Resource Type" under the configuration area.  Symantec support states this is a known issue in the 7.1 SR2 version.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I see the same in 7.0 SP5, 7.1 SP1, and 7.1 SP2.  I tried SQL, Resource, and Computer reports, but they all worked the same.  I guess I never noticed!  Wish I had different news for you about versions.

I imagine a workaround would be to clone an existing report and modify it for your use.

Do any users out there use the SMP console to create new reports?  This seems to be a real limitation for users relying on reports.

Symantec support is providing me a workaround.  Looks like making edits to the XML file will be needed.  They still have a few more details to provide me.
