Reports Showing Different Data

If I run a deployment report it shows I deployed SEP to 15 clients (correct).

If I run a Weekly Status report, the Computer Status section only shows 1 client (no correct).

Is the "computer status" gauging new clients a different way?

The Computer Status report shows a complete breakdown and the deployment status will also show here. Did you try filtering on the column? Maybe some screenshots here would help.

I didn't filter anything, it should show all the computers I deployed to in the computer status report (I believe).  The one computer it does show doesn't even show in the deployment report.

It looks like the computer status one is for clients that were recently added to the SEPM. Did this machine previously have SEP on it or was it an upgrade of a previous version?

The one computer by itself was moved out of the main computer OU to a QA OU.  No server or software chaged for that client (since 10/1 ish).

The other report showing multiple computers are software upgrades and directing them to this new SEPM server.

I believe it only shows if there were any changes during weeks time

The Weekly Status Report provides the following information:

    Computer status

    Virus detection

    Protection status snapshot

    Virus definition distribution timeline

    Risk distribution by day

    Top ten risks and infections

Apart from computer status are the other sections fine?

I alway use monitors - logs - computer status report to see the definition date /scan time / infected or not...

I'm trying to get an accurate count of new computers in SEPM as we are upgrading client software and migrating them to the new server.   The other details seem to be correct.  How come the computer status isn't reflecting properly?  or does this mesaure something different than what the deployment report does?

Yeah, that weekly status seems to be showing only the changes, once you add new computers you can see them under weekly report ( within that week)

if you create a computer status report it has a creation time column, you can sort that to see the new machines

    They're two different reports.

Go into Monitors >> Logs >> Computer Status. Do these machines reflect here?

We're compairing two different things here.  Yes, they show in the Monitors >> Logs >> Computer Status if I pick something like the default scan log.  I'm looking for new computers that have been added to SEPM

That's what I'm saying...they are NOT showing in the weekly or daily reports.  They only show in the deployment report.

    Why is this?
