    Hi

    We have SEP 12.1.4 and I lost the admin password, I want to reset admin password how should I ?

    Becaue I did not find a file "resetpass.bat" in Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tools

    Hi

    I have follow the steps, but unfortunately may be we did not define admin email address and SMTP server, now what is other proceudure, how we can define email adddrss and SMTP

    If Method 2 fails try running management server configuration wizard once then try the same process again.

     

    If your still not able to reset the password and if you do not many client reporting to the server you might want to try .

    Hello,

    Resetpass.bat is no more present under tools folder. It's been removed due to security reason.Now you can recover the password using specified email id.

    You can refer this video to learn more about it.
