  • 1.  Residual Nortons processes?

    I haven't used Nortons security products for years but there are a couple of processes in my computer that seem to be residual and were not removed by Nortons Removal Tool.  I do use Nortons Ghost 2002.

    They are.....

    symlcbrd/symlcbrd \??\C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\symlcbrd.sys Running

    And......

    Symantec Core LC/Symantec Core LC C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\CCPD-LC\symlcsvc.exe Stopped

    Please advise how they may be removed unless they are related to Ghost 2002.

    If the Norton Tool failed to remove these, I am guessing they are related to Ghost.

    I would also post this question in the Norton Community, as this forum is for Enterprise Support.
