It is not possible to schedule the update timing if you are using SEPM or GUP for updation....

Hey there is no place in SEPM you can do this but there is work around that may help you.
Before we go deep into that we first need to understand how the GUP works

    • Step 1: SEP Client does regular heartbeat to SEPM
    • Step 2: SEP client connects to configured GUP seeking new content
    • Step 3: GUP doesn’t have requested content so contacts SEPM
    • Step 4: SEPM starts building exact deltas that GUP requests for SEP client
    • Step 5: GUP keeps checking if requested deltas are ready and retrieves
    • Step 6: When GUP has delta published, client retrieves
So the only way you restrict the GUP to take update from the SEPM is through the Client heartbeat.

Change the heartbeat accordingly from the Client --> Policy---> Commuincation settings Page
