I don't see anything obvious. Have you tried running the patch manually (download the .exe directly) on a client, so it's not silent? It should give you more of a descriptive error.

(after Googling for "Microsoft error code 17302"). It looks like there was some problem applying the .MSP (patch) file. You'll probably want to check the %WINDIR% or C:\Windows\Temp for the log file (should be KBxxxxxx.log most likely). This could be caused by no access to the package source files (which shouldn't be an issue in O2K7 unless you deleted the C:\MSOCache\ directory where the LIS (Local Installation Source) is stored).
