In DLP scans when looking for credit card numbers for example, what config do you need to set to only return the credit card data that matched and not the characters/digits before or after?

 do you mean in DLP incident detail page ?

you are not able to have only matching part (even if it should be the only one to be overlined in yellow). If you really dont want it you could remove view of this section in profile definition by unchecking "matches" and so people will have to check in message/document where CCN where found.
