Any update on when RU6 will be released to the public?

We tried testing RU5 but had a problem with BSOD on our mostly Windows 7 client base.  RU3 works fine on these same machines.  Windows 8 seemed to take RU5 without issue, but the OS is very limited deployment in our company.  Support was unable to determine a root cause for our issue with RU5/Win7.

In beta right now. No word on official release dates....

Might there be an estimated timeframe for the release of 12.1.6?  I'm preparing our institution's base image for the upcoming academic year, and I'd happily delay if I knew I could include 12.1.6 in the image in the near future.

Has anyone had an update on when RU6 will be realesed?

We are running with RU5 with a few bugs that are meant to be fixed with RU6.

I got word this morning the Beta is going to be closed off in the next 24 hours, so I would expect within the next week, if not the next few days, but no, have not heard anything concrete.

It's in the download portal today.

12.1.6 shows up for download for me today.

I can't find Release Notes yet.

Correct. 12.1.6 isn't listed yet at http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH163829.

Since it literally just came out this morning, I would hope the release notes won't be far behind, but it doesn't surprise me that they're not out yet.

Agreed. Doesn't appear to, which really sucks, as we personally reported a tonne of defects we needed fixed in RU6.

I suppose we have to play the waiting game. :(
