Endpoint Protection

Sage users have reported slow response times when performing transactions.  In particualr the Sage backup takes far longer than usual.

I have noticed that Symantec Install Component is taking up most of the CPU and saw around three instances.  This stopped once the backup completed.

 

What is the exact version of SEP? When did this start? As a test, did you disable autoprotect to see if the backup runs as expected?

v14 build 2415.

No I did not disable auto protect as managed client.

You'll need to start disabling components to see which it is. Also, I'd get a support case opened up.
