  • 1.  SAV 10.x Difference between Console and Reporting Website

    Hi all,

    We have a single SAV 10.1 Management Server with a lot of SAV 10.1 Managed Clients. We also installed the Reporting Server for better reporting features.

    If I look in the SCS Console I only see about 70% of the clients. If I create a report from the website I see all my clients. In that report all clients report the correct Management Server and group and all have current virus definitions.

    Further investigation shows that in the console all clients are missing that have not reported in since 21 Aug (more then 6 days ago). I checked the ClientExpirationTimeout registry value on the SAV server and this is set to the default 720 hours (30 days).
    Can anyone explain why this is happening? Am I running into a maximum number of clients (roughly 3400 now), or is there some other limit I missed?

    Any help or tips are appreciated.

    Hello fdenhaan,

    I'm not as expert on the reporting server. I suggest you open a case with support to help troubleshoot your issue. Anyone else want to chime in on this users question?
